Obviously its a little harder for a commoner to look as amazing as she does, I mean I do not have anything remotely similar to thin legs or hair as fabulous as hers. But I did learn a few things about her wardrobe choices and I gave it a good go.
So here is what I learnt from her style and adapted to everyday life (OK well apart from wearing shorts!)
1. The blazer! You can no go wrong with a boyfriend style blazer. Instantly smartens up and outfit.
2. Stripes, add an interesting dimension to plain tops and singlets and work wonders with blazer.

Jacket and boots from Sportsgirl. Top from Witchery. Jeans from Country Road. Sunglasses from Witchery |
2. A hat and vintage sunnies go a long way! I even took this hat to he beach!

3. A cute dress and a satchel work well for the day time and can be achieved for little cost
Day dress and Hat from Sportsgirl. Satchel from Topshop |
4. A cropped jacket and flowing clothes and accessories give you an elegant but casual chic.
Jacket secondhand from the Salvos. Necklace from Turkey. Cargo pants and singlet from Witchery. |
5. Shorts, sunnies and a scarf look great (if you have the legs- which I clearly don't).
Shorts from Roxy, top from sportsgirl and scarf from the Salvos! |
6. And lastly BLACK black and more black!
Hat from South Melbourne market. Bonds T-shirt and Sportsgirl Jeans |
Don't even get me started on how she uses a splash of colour in her accessories and layers scarves. There is so much to learn from Rachel's classic and understated style, that despite our civilian status can be used in 'real life'. Just remember, black, grey and cream all good choices. Colourful and interesting accessories. Stripes!!! Vintage sunglasses, scarves and bags can transform any outfit. Oh and don't ever be seen without heels!
