"I'm 41 with a very active 8yo son.
I work in an office and always try to present a simple but professional look. I'm a big fan of skirts and flats all year round which very much appeals to my 'sensible' fashion approach (and best hides my problem areas - knees to hips). I'm not a believer in the statement 'fashion is pain darling', I need to be comfortable ALL DAY, not just the first 30 minutes. I must be able to trip over the dog without rolling my ankle, shoot some hoops with my son, be able to reach the top shelf of the pantry (where the bad snacks are) to make school lunches without having to completely readjust and climb in and out of the 4WD without 'over exposure to the neighbors' - all before I get to work.
My wardrobe is dominated by Country Road - pants, shirts, jeans, skirts, tops, jackets, even shoes and accessories. I use this brand as my staples and try to buy specific items to jazz up my somewhat 'tired' look.
I'm no fashionista and don't have any natural flair when it comes to putting things together. This extends into purchasing new items, I'm not good at 'topping up' what I currently own when buying items to match / create a new look.
My summer wardrobe is particularly tired with the exception of a couple of loved items. So with the season fast approaching my brief is simple, create a new and importantly COLORFUL look utilising a few items i already own so i can mix and match to create a fresh look with various options that are suitable for both the office and weekend frivolity"
