I Love Belle & Hannah

So this is going to sound like a massive gush-fest, but I think I am a little bit in love with Billie Piper in The Secret diary of a Call Girl. I know the show has finished now, but I still can't stop looking at some of the fashion and it appears I'm not the only one. I think season 1 and 2 were just finding their way, but something happened in season 3 and the styling just went BANG! So indulge me in some of these photos because she looks bloody fantastic.

The most interesting thing to me is the subtle differences between Belle and Hannah. Hannah has a much more professional or classic look but still with fab hair, make up and accessories where as Belle can go for out and out sexy. For me the last two seasons are up there with Sex and the City. Big call I know, but I can't think of another UK program that had as much style as this - ever!

I was able to find a couple of great montages of both sides to her character. Such luscious fabrics and colour. Makes me want to get up an hour early every day and do my hair and make up before I go to work! Of course I'd get laughed out of the office, but a girl can dream.

Pieces in the show have been sourced from designers such as Marc Jacobs, preen, Cos,  and Kurt Keiger (My Fave for shoes!). They also worked with Aussie sisters Michelle and Kelly Haynes! Great job by Edward K Gibbon in styling the show, and apparently Billie had a lot to do with it!

"Ed and I wanted to step it up a bit this year. We wanted to merge fantasy with…. well…. fantasy. We wanted to show the effects of a woman who fiercely compartmentalizes her life. A working woman, a sexual predator, a home owner, a girlfriend and now a madam. A different look for all occasions" Billie Piper

And here are a few montages of how to get her look.

So there you go, a purely indulgent post but it appears I'm not the only one who thinks so. For more info on the styling check out this link from Tiger Aspect the production company! Enjoy!
