OK so it seems in the past I've been a wee bit unfair to Cameron Diaz. I mean sure, she's beautiful and the epitome of the blonde Californian beach babe, but I never really noticed her when it came to style. Like her acting, she always seems to take the easy choice (OK well apart from being John Malkovich I'll give her that), but nothing really stood out to me, no real and bold choices, no real risks. Anyone can look fabulous on the red carpet with a team of people ensuring that you do, but in day to day life I guess she seems to have passed me by.
Well that all changed this week as I watched her wheel out superb outfit after superb outfit whilst doing the rounds at Paris fashion week. Most of the attention she garnered from the press seems to be about her new "youthful" look, sending the gossip rags in to a frenzy over her so called cosmetic procedures. I think that is utter rubbish, Cameron Diaz is all about the clean living as far as I can tell, and as we saw at the Golden Globes, has embraced ageing and in fact seems to be getting better with age. better wardrobe choices, better film choices (OK so Bad Teacher was...just OK), and better views on the world.
This first outfit is my absolute favourite. Cameron wearing Valentino to Valentino's show at the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild and Louboutin shoes. The classic bob a perfect partner.
This next look is my second favourite, Cameron wearing Chanel to the Chanel show. Love the monochrome pairing and the woollen coat. So very very Parisian, as a former Paris resident I wish I had had an ounce of this style whilst living there!
It seems that everyone loves this look. So cute and girly from Christian dior. Not many people could pull of Gladiator sandals with a 50's inspired dress.
Here is another classy number, Atellier Versace. Just divine. I love the swept back hair.
I love this simple and classy white dress. The monochrome look is clearly working for her as she wears Giorgio Armani Prive
Even going out she looks fabulous in these leather pants. I want some of what she is having!
I also love the evening look, swept back hair and a simple jacket with matching booties. Whatever you are doing keep doing it Cameron. I really like this more European you!
Now some people would say she got all of these clothes for free to encourage her to turn up to these shows. They're probably the same people who think she has had surgery. Either way, keep it up. Cameron you are on my style radar!
