The emmajane Lulu dress in black (LOVE) |
So when I put the call out last week to start this program, I was contacted by someone I work with in my "day" job (in advertising) about emmajane. Its a small world that we live in and I am constantly surprised by the amount of people I know who have 2 jobs. Their real job and their soul job! I call them that as they are the things you do outside of work that nourish your soul!
And that's how I met Emma Masters, the designer behind the emmajane label. I'm very excited that we get to sell a few fabulous pieces from the emmajane range through Chevali, and if you like them there are plenty more to come!

So what can I tell you about emmajane? The vibe is casual, classy and elegant. The pieces are eye-catching with eclectic detailing and intricate beading embellishments, mixed with feminine prints and alluring silhouettes. (Check out these other dresses!)
The début spring/summer collection encompasses the namesake style of emmajane. Her designs are delicately embellished and made with hand-printed silk and rayon echoing murmurs of bohemian chic with an understated girly charm.
With tones of ivory, charcoal, violet and tangerine, the collection is subtle and sophisticated yet lavishly playful. A whimsical quality is created throughout the entire range with the alluring mix of colour and embellishment. Each piece is gracefully unique and perfect for day or night. To start with we will be selling the Lulu dress in a range of colours and sizes.

Inspired by her own childhood ambitions, emmajane is a label that believes in dreams nurtured through imagination and cherished with creativity and sisterhood. I admire anyone who can make such beautiful designs. So look out for the initial dresses that will be added to the Chevali collection soon.
And remember I really want to find more of you. You don't need to have your own label like emmajane, I really want to hear from you even if you make the odd dress and want to sell them. I want to be an inclusive environment to welcome new talent and to continue bringing you stylish designer and modern vintage pieces and totally affordable costs.
